    Independently owned restaurant that offers great food, great service that makes you feel at home. "Regulars" are known by first names.
    This place offers Senior discounts.
    My fayvs: Any breakfast food, spinach pie, broasted chicken, and lamb gyro with fries.
    Lottery tickets, scratch offs and Keno available too.

    Easy 1.5 mile from I75 for home style cookin'. The brown exterior sign outside looks more RV lot than throwback 60s diner with counter barstools; its all a little dated but the food is great, large 4-page Greek American menu with quick service and one can even dabble at Keno while dining.

    Both the Senior Half waffle egg sausage breakfast $5.95 and the Greek 3-egg omelette were just what we needed to keep the foot to the peddle, with a quick 10 min order to delivery! Selecting english muffin for toast tacked on .25c (not a big deal and the waffle was .20c more than menu price. Might prove interesting for larger group orders to see what extras may pop. Alas Yelpers get 10% first timer ck in discount ).

    Tzatziki omelette topper had lovely dill pop, waitress service was great and kept hot coffee flowing, though a weak buzz for the caffeine pros.

    Overall a recommended stop for the highway hungry :)

    5 of us had breakfast  at George's today. As breakfasts go, this was very good.

    I had the Greek omelet and it recommend this one! It had 3 eggs, gyro meat sliced, diced and fried like bacon. It was topped with taztziki sauce which added more flavor to an already yummy omelet.

    The others had a variety of breakfast meals that all looked good and they said they meals were good.

    You can totally stay on plan here if your dieting! Eggs can be egg whites, toast can be dry, you can choose your own ingredients for an omelet.   What a GREAT place!

    Came here today and ordered the pretzel burger, which is just a regular burger on a pretzel bun and it was great ! I replaced the chips, with steak fries and everything was great. The portion size was enough for the price and it was worth it. This will become one of my favorite restaurants in the Dayton area. I'll have to come back on a Monday since they have discounted desserts.

    George's Family Restaurant is wonderful diner down-home family place. Service and Food is excellent! And prices reasonable. I highly recommend .
